HP unveils two convertible laptops & Elite Folio at CES.

HP Elite Folio

The new HP Elite folio comes armed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx chipset, 13.5-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1280) IPS LCD panel protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, up to 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and 5G. The 2 in 1 is a fanless machine so expect it to be super quiet.

The connectivity is a bit limited with just two USB Type-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack. The machine also features fast charging which is a common thing found on mobile phones making its way into the laptop world.

The HP Elite Folio will be available for purchase in February 2021.

The HP Elite Dragonfly G2 and Elite Dragonfly Max are both lightweight 2 in 1 laptop and offer 13.3-inch screens, Intel 11th Gen processors, optional 5G, and 4G LTE support.

The HP Elite Dragonfly Max has a 1080p display while the non-Max is configurable up to 4K, a 5MP webcam with an IR sensor, four wide-array microphones, and the option to disable the webcam altogether. The Elite Dragonfly G2 has the Intel 11th up to a Core i7, while the Elite Dragonfly Max has a choice between an i5 and i7. Both can be configured with up to 32GB of RAM, 2TB of M.2 SSD storage and have a USB-C 3.1 charging port, two USB-C Thunderbolt 3, and a single HDMI 2.1 B port.
