A new project has preserved 36,000 browser games ahead of the death of Flash.

there's also the option to download the full 288GB package

I used to play browser Flash games, nice to know that some of them are being preserved!

ah me and my friends wasted copious amounts of time after school using the library PC to play on MiniClip and Newgrounds since it had broadband and we didn't...

waiting 10 mins to put a Furby in a microwave was always too long...

The one I'm actually excited about is Ruffle.rs (a Flash emulator that runs on browser) made by the Newgrounds guys, because not having to download stuff is always a plus for me. You can go to their website and try it yourself, you can watch the animation that comes embedded with it or upload a SWF and play it.

It's still an alpha so it has compatibility issues with some SWFs. But it's still interesting just to check out the technology, WebAssembly will allow some cool stuff.
