The proceeds go to support pulling down statues, but there are an awful lot of curious games there.

Perhaps you might find a few more worth a look.

I would be interested in hearing anybody's views on the promotional material for these games. A lot of the success of a small budget game (or book) depends on its cover art. The wording, images, and concept are what people buy, the game itself might be complete rubbish. (Just a Hello World program, or something like that.)

What is it that makes one of these games a tempting purchase?

If you had developed one of these games, would you have been content to release the end product with a website and supporting assets like one used for one of those games?

Are these indie game developers all making a similar sort of mistake in the way they present their game?

Can you find even one of these games which have actually made a good effort at trying to sell their game? What did they do to make it a success?

The more I look at this bundle, the more I say to myself I should try and make a game of my own. I think I would start with the sales page, and work backwards, rather than with the game itself.
