DeepCool has created a great product with the LS720. Featuring the 4th generation of DeepCool's in-house water pump design, the LS720 provides cooling performance of up to 8c+ better than it's previous generation AIOs. At $149 it provides a great value, providing performance similar to coolers which cost $50+ more.
Today we'll be comparing Intel's newly released "Beast Canyon" Extreme NUC, which uses a TigerLake i9-11900kb, to it's predecessor "Ghost Canyon" which uses the i9-9980hk. Each features an 8c CPU with a 65w long term TDP and are officially "unlocked", allowing for overclocking.
When Rocketlake launched, I declined to call my coverage of it a "review" because the motherboards I had available were either using early (buggy) BIOSes and/or were experiencing other problems. Have these BIOS updates improved the situation at all? Keep reading.
Today we'll be looking at ASRock's b560 Steel Legend, a rather impressive mid range motherboard which performs on par with z590 motherboards twice it's price.
Today we're looking at the EDG27x, Nixeus's latest high refresh rate 1440p gaming monitor, which has been redesigned with a 165hz Fast IPS KSF panel and works with both Xbox Series X (including VRR) and PlayStation 5 consoles at 120hz.
I was initially skeptical about this monitor due to it's lower PPI - but this panel's quality is outstanding and has raised the bar for what I consider a good monitor. With pitch perfect blacks, great HDR, zero ghosting, and crisp motion clarity - this monitor is only a resolution bump away from being "endgame".
We take a quick look at Intel's ARC A770 LE.
Fast, Ultrawide, and Cheap are three words I've never used to describe a 21:9 monitor before - but in this case, the description is accurate. Viotek's GNV30CBXA provides a great value in a highly niche market, and is substantially improved versus it's predecessor with faster refresh rates, better response times, and a vastly better stand.
MSI's MEG CoreLiquid S280 has top tier cooling performance, and is one of the few coolers I would recommend for overclocking Alder Lake
Gamdias Talos E3 is a good mid tower computer case which packs value with a "budget" price of only $59.99 USD. With support for 4x storage drives, GPUs up to 300mm in size, and 240/360mm AIOs - it has room for just about anything you would need.
2020 is coming to a close, there’s a bunch of new (and unobtainable) parts on the market, and ’tis the...
MSI's CoreLiquid K360 provided better than expected performance when testing Intel's i9-12900k, and kept it cool in scenarios most other coolers fail. Alder Lake’s thermal density makes cooling high TDP loads a lot harder than cooling previous generation CPUs, and the MSI K360 CoreLiquid rises to the challenge.
